Akora
Akora is a residential and working community based in the heart of Madrid. It offers hosted short to long term accommodation and a club and hub where local and visiting professionals can meet, work, network and relax.
Copywriter and brand consultant
Akora was looking to expand its offering beyond hosted apartments to incorporate a members club and hub under a new, more lifestyle focused rebrand.
I came on board to help define the approach and language for this rebrand, creating the ‘Live, Work and Play’ three-pronged approach. Working with the CEO and marketing team, we defined the new brand approach and I then applied it to the new website design.
Despite being based in Madrid, the core clientele are visiting from overseas and so English was set as the base language with a Spanish translation added for locals.
The project also included the launch of Akora’s new community hub in the Barrio Justicia but this was unfortunately put on hold thanks to the covid pandemic. Hopefully it opens soon though!
